look ill just use ricks as an example. word on the street is he is transferring because other schools are promising him million dollar NIL deals in advance once he signs.
We're not losing guys because of staff uncertainty. It's the side hustling NIL pimps working in shadow doing the bidding of the big players in the NIL, recruiting, transfer portal game.

Yeah, I actually do. If you think rules for this aren't being bent/stretched, you're the one with no clue.
Get some businesses invested

Do you really think the players weren't getting paid before NIL? Think about Arik Gilbert. Now re-think your whole post

Bring on Shaq as a consultant or even more if he would take it . He loves the place, wouldn’t necessarily have to be there all the time, could be near his son, and knows more about branding and how to promote than anyone in sports.
And it’s not like he’s doing anything other than some halftime shows for NBA games from a studio.

Why did we just sign a deal with Ceasar’s and not use the shite out of that?

Cite some examples on both sides regarding how LSU is way behind other schools.

Small state. Not great economically, limited reach economically, lack of big businesses, smaller alumni network than other SEC schools, etc. All this is hurting us. Need to funnel some serious cash into NIL and make their own marketing department in the AD.
We may see a big power shift in the NCAA soon due to this and transfer portal. Probably why USC went in raw on OU because they have the power of SOCAL behind them which can bring some insane NIL deals.

No we’re not. Their classes are better because nobody wanted to come play for Orgeron. Firing him mid season wasn’t going to make them jump ship to LSU.

That kid never wanted to be here to begin with. If we had been winning, he would have stayed, but losing because of Orgerons incompetence pushed this kid completely out the door.

There was the HUGE NILSU campaign (Olivia in Times Square, etc), but not much seems to have come out of the marketing ploy that I know about/

Ricks left because he wasn't getting NIL love.
Explain A&M getting these La kids committed.
Other than a handful of players, haven't seen much happening with NIL (Thomas, MB, Stingley)

All I know is LSU needs to get with the program quick, because they will lose recruits.
They already are. LSU isn’t in the same stratosphere of what’s being offered by a division rival. LSU is selling opportunity with nil while others are selling guarantees.
There are some kids who will still come because it’s their dream to play at lsu and they want their family to see them play but others are taking the money.

Which kids
They’ve got like one recruit in 8 years that LSU even wanted before Moss committed there recently

Back to the original question; do you even understand how NIL works?
And can you please cite some examples how LSU is behind other schools?

No he didn’t. Stop believing everything you read on the internet

I’m pretty sure NIL deals paid for recruiting are against the rules. The problem is these NIL deal rules differ from state to state. It really is confusing reading them but surely LSU gets a handle on NIL deals in Louisiana. Could’ve been a factor in landing Kelly.

NIL money starts in the parking lots. Brennan had a $80k F250, Stingley had a $100k Cobra GT500, Elias had a $100k car as well. Trust me… the big time recruits get taken care of.

NIL wasn't around for 7 of those years

So, you know Ricks personally? He told you this? I can promise you Sting getting NIL love had something to do with his being unhappy.
This NIL is a new world, my point was we better be playing the game like the big boys are we'll start seeing problems.

Stingley came into the year as one of highest profile kids in the country.
There were rumors last year Ricks wanted to leave & NIL wasn’t even a thing yet. So no, I’m pretty sure he just never really adjusted to lsu.
And until you know what the WR6 at another school, who is a freshmen with 6 catches, is getting in NIL money, you really should stop comparing LSU to these schools

Exactly. The true NIL endorsements are just not going to be as big as people thought. Reserved for top players only. That’s why Stingley is getting Canes & other National brands.
I really think LSU fans think there are multiple kids at other schools openly getting deals like this.
The recruiting game is different. It can’t be open pay for play. It all has to be hush. So if LSU is doing something, it won’t be open. But you have to understand other teams are working under the same rules.
So no, A&M pulling Lev Moss does not tell me they are doing something special. He’s already commited twice to other schools outside the state. I’m pretty sure that’s a mixture of him wanting to leave & LSU being hesitant given his off field situation
