The fall semester starts Aug. 20, so we should know how all this shakes out soon. Rumors in the 2013 thread of Godfrey being ineligible.

A former target of LSU, Barnett Harris (6-10 PF/C from Pittsburgh) will be attending prep school this year at Fishburne Military Academy in Virginia.

yea i saw something ab out that a few weeks ago. googled his name out of curiosity and found some blurb on a comment section of a newspaper saying he would be prep school bound. didn't know where at the time.

While we are rehashing former recruits, Norvel Pelle just visited Iona and may commit there. He is also being recruited by West Virginia, Arkansas, Fresno State and "a few other schools" according to his brother.
His brother said he is on the verge of being eligible and may enroll at a school for 2012. It is unknown which schools are included in the "other schools" but I doubt LSU is involved. Would be awesome, however. We could use him.

Also, I have been following the Keith Clanton situation and no mention of LSU. Looks like Florida State and UK are the front-runners, if he even leaves. Is also looking at other schools, such as South Florida.

Shane Hammink is playing well for the Netherlands U18 team in the European Championships. After two games, he is averaging 13 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
The Netherlands lost to Portugal yesterday, 85-79 in two overtimes. Hammink scored 18 points in the game.
The tournament ends on August 19, so Shane will just be making it to the U.S. right before school starts.
