Montrezl Harrell of Virginia Tech has committed to Louisville. LSU tried to get involved with him, unsuccessfully.

Depends on who did the vetting at both No. Tex and LSU.

Former LSU recruit Clyde Santee has committed to UMass. He is not academically eligible and will sit out his freshman year. That answers the question for me of why he has not had a lot of recruiting interest.
He had lots of major programs recruiting him early on, and some nice offers, but those apparently all got dropped when his academic situation became known.

LSU ranked 13 out of 14 in the SEC. Johnny Jones did a good job given the situation. Still optimistic for this season, especially if Odoh gets eligible.

Man, that is cold disrespect if I have ever seen it. This should be on the bulletin board as incentive. I have faith that our recruits are far better than this and I believe we will see that next year. Geaux Tigers!!

It's neither surprising, nor disrespectful. Foreign and JUCO players generally are unranked or lowly ranked, because of lack of exposure and scouting.
Three of our four signees are either JUCO or foreign. That is the reason for the low ranking.

yea that ranking is skewed. I can't wait until the season begins. I hope Odoh gets his act together. Next years recruiting is going to be fun.

If Odoh makes it, that's 11. So we'd have at least 3 scholarships for sure for 2013.
We'd be 6'11, 6'9, 6'9, 6'9, 6'8, 6,6, 6,6, 6'4, 6,3, 5'10, 5'9.
If these kids can play, we can make the tournament next season. We won't be small/lazy at the 1,2,3 the whole game.
