@DaveTelep: Massanutten PG Corbin Collins is now 2012 not 2013. LSU, VaTech, Central Florida & Cincinnati. Those are offers.

Spelled Corban. I've never heard of him, other than seeing his name on some recruiting lists. Never seen him associated with LSU. Looks like a good prospect whose stock has risen.

A point guard making waves in the class of 2013 is 6-foot-3 Corban Collins. The product of Woodstock (Va.) Massanuten averaged 25 points, eight assists and six rebounds per game as a junior and has gotten off to a solid start this spring with the Carolina Raptors. According to his summer coach Julio Williams, Collins now has offers from Cincinnati, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, UCF and UMass. Additional interest is coming in from Louisville, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, Maryland, Illinois, DePaul, Rutgers, Syracuse, Wake Forest, N.C. State, Georgia Tech and Miami. The three-star prospect currently plans to visit Cincinnati and Central Florida unofficially during June.
From Rivals from a few weeks ago. Apparently LSU is involved and he's attempting a move to 2012.

Looks like we are not involved in the Fo Shizzle Montrezl sweepstakes. I never really thought we were. LSU was just a name his coach said had inquired about him. He apparently did not reciprocate the interest.

And according to Joe Davis of Scoutsfocus.com, Harrell now has a top four: Louisville, Florida, Cincinnati and Alabama.Billy Donovan will be coaching Harrell from June 5th to the 12th at the Olympic Qualifiers, which probably won’t hurt his chances to land the 6-foot-8 forward, but most believe the Cardinals to be the favorite. Why? Because Rick Pitino hired Harrell’s high school coach, Kevin Keatts, of Hargrave Military Academy

Are Corbin Collins and Corban Collins two different people? They dont look the same in the two videos.

This last-minute Collins deal probably has to do with Isaac not returning.

A newer video of Corban. He has a really good shot
I know I'm gonna get blasted for this, but something about this guy's shot reminds me of Marcus Thornton. (And no, I'm not saying this guy is as good as MT, just that the shot form looks somewhat similar)

Looks like a combo guard. Can shoot and run the point.

is pollard still set to announce no the 25th? UT and Bama still the rumored favorites?

Posted on 5/23/12 at 1:21 pm to LsuTool
That's just a rumor. He has not said that is when he is announcing. May or may not be true. He has also not named favorites.

Evan Daniels of Scout has confirmed that LSU has offered Collins and that he will definitely visit LSU, along with Cincinnati and Central Florida. Is considering a visit to Virginia Tech.
Is also considering Pittsburgh, Virginia and Rutgers, but they have not yet offered. His move to 2012 has just taken place, so schools are still evaluating. Some schools that were recruiting him for 2013 are out of the picture for 2012, because they do not have scholarships.
