Basically yes. Not that they exclusively run isolation with off ball screens and such, they also run pick and rolls. But not much post-up play. That was disappointing last season with Naz and Kavel. But neither proved to be consistent in the post. I suppose there were times he needed Tremont and Smart to just take over and get to the basket and create. Something Smart will be even better at this season.

I find this very refreshing. I thought they relied little too much on dribble penetration last season. I was always a fan of the Bobby Knight motion offense. Double low post screens away from the ball, you know, let the motion create an open shot. But, just not enough time to run multiple sets these days. But it will be interesting to see what CWW does with this team.

And that is a trait some coaches just don't have. That flexibility says a lot for the mans overall knowledge of the game and understanding how to use players to get the most from their abilities.

This is a very good way to ruin a very good player. John Wooden was a master at changing his styles to fit his players. If CWW has 1/4 the success Wooden had, I will be a very happy dude. LOL
