Sorry, I meant to say Kuminga. Poster I quoted said Wilkinson, which threw me off. I corrected it.

However, Wilkinson is definitely a 4, not a 3. 247 has him as both a composite 4, as well as for their individual ranking.

Wade is the GOAT.

I really think Wade may have gotten N’Faly last year if not for the fiasco.

To still bring in Watford was so important.

If LSU signs all those players. But that depends on who leaves early. As of right now LSU will have 4 scholarships to offer.
You feel confident about Terry? I haven't heard anything that would give me hope he comes to LSU. But I don't have any sources, just what I hear on here.
I suppose if I had to predict who leaves I'd say Watford, Williams and Manning. I just don't see anybody else being NBA ready. Not that any of those 3 will be NBA ready, but you know, when money talks, young ones walk.

My bad. I thought I'd seen him rated a 5, but he is a mid to high 4, at least on 247. It looks like him, Cam Thomas, Cook and Ezewiro will all sign in the early period. Well, if Wilkinson and Cam do commit. Hope they do. I'd really hate to lose underclassmen off this team, but I know someone (or some) will declare. It's said the biggest improvement for a college player is between their freshman and sop seasons. That means LSU is going to have some very good players this season.

Recent talk is that it is likely a 2 horse race b/w LSU and Louisville. It certainly says a lot that he makes an official visit to LSU immediately after decommiting from Mich. St. Billy said the visit went well and parents don’t seem to have an issue with the distance.

Not saying he won't stay put in 2021 class; but N'Faly made similar statements just earlier this year (hell, I think it was around end of June) and then ends up reclassifying and signing with Oregon a little over a month later. Most of these kids aren't going to say definitively that they will reclassify till they no for sure that it is a possibility to do so. I'm sure he is a ways away from know if it is academically possible.

Also to side note, he didn't qualify for fall, he is trying to enroll in mid-term (mid-December) now

Great tidbit. I had not heard that. Serves Oregon right for negatively recruiting us and stealing him away.

That's very good to hear. And with the style of basketball Wade employs it would greatly benefit a player like Terry who is very athletic, excellent quickness and hops. I like to refer to Wade's style as organized street ball. He likes to let guys use their ability to create their own shots while also running designed plays. A lot of isolation with off ball screens and picks and cuts. Would be very good to get a player like Terry.

So basically they will have him for a little more than half the season. And what happens if he doesn't qualify in December? I suppose he won't be playing any college ball. I'd be willing to bet he is a one and done, even if there really isn't a one, just done.

Are you basing this just off of the past 2 years here? If so, then that may not be exactly what we see this year and moving fwd. I haven't ever watched any of Wade's teams prior to his arrival at LSU. But he has been talking a lot about how the make-up of of this year's roster is more the type of team he is familiar and most comfortable with, and therefore will employ a style of play that he is more used to. He has said they will do some things that are similar to what they have done on offense the past couple of years; but he has mentioned several times how the offensive style will look very different than the past 2 years.

Overall, I don't disagree with you. I think what can best be said about Wade is that he has the ability to employ a system that best matches the roster he has available to him; which is great for recruiting, because players know that he is not going to try and force them into a role or style they are not comfortable with or does not suit their abilities.

Was fortunate to talk w Cam on his visit when I cooked for the group . He seemed like a real good respectful kid I know his parents were very impressed with CWW and his staff . He was rocking a Joker necklace and is a big Batman fan . Said he was hoping to see the movie the following night. Come back Cam I’ll cook for you anytime
