Nah, he was excellent in the post season which was the only point where he got to start all of the games. If he had played a full season he was on pace for 15+ HRs 65+ RBIs and a .325 BA and some of the opponents would be of lower caliber.

Two big ones jumped in recently. I bet we see how those shake out first. If Kent commits, he definitely doesn’t have to position locked down. He would be a really solid get though.

Man, dude has played everywhere. Im sure he can play 3rd, just definitely doesnt fit the prototypical body type we are used to seeing there.

The recruiting page just posted a picture with a glove that has an infield webbing. Seems Kent is here right now and the others were here this morning or coming tomorrow

Think Kent would be a big get and could play 2B/SS or 3B. Don’t think it would stop us from going after Fischer

He’s not gone for good but he would lose all leverage if he came back so he may take what he gets this year. FSS has him around 200 last I saw.
If you’re Jay I think you have to recruit as if he’s gone. He can battle for his spot if he comes back.

I just dont see him getting good money in the draft either this year or next. He isnt very projectable. Little range, not a plus arm, not plus power, typical good college player. If he comes back, he is gonna be our shortstop
