Is that really that big of a deal though? He get injured and played injured this season or something?

Goes from a .300+ hitter his freshman season to a sub .200 hitter his sophomore season.

Really seems that Tennessee and A&M are on top of the transfer portal.

Hope that Jay is just focusing on arms and the class right now.

You regularly hop in threads with condescending remarks about how dumb everyone else’s takes are, yet you consistently say things that are incorrect or missing context. I’m not sure why you are so offended, since you seem to enjoy being the jackass that will say anything to disagree with people.

Vandy SS Carter young has entered the portal

I think he’s draft eligible so we will see if he does that

But I think Jay was recruiting him at AZ

I don't know how hard we were pursuing him, I just know we had a connection to him since Kelly was at ASU with him. He was great as a freshman and was set to be their shortstop next year. He had a rotator cuff injury that he probably came back too soon from (which I think is part of the reason for the transfer in the first place).

I don't know if it's a big deal necessarily, but he's a guy that could play multiple infield positions and hit well if he got healthy. The key is if he gets healthy.

That’s very interesting. He was awesome 2 years ago and I believe he’s a great defender.

He's a lottery ticket.

It's possible we don't have the room for a lottery ticket. And like I said, I don't know how ardently we were pursuing him. I was only monitoring the situation due to the connection we had.

One pitcher I've tracked for a while and have no clue what his status is (and we aren't even connected with on social media) is Seth Tomczac. Kelly coached him at ASU and then he went to San Joaquin Delta CC (big time CA JUCO) and did pretty well. Starter experience, goes deep into games, was highly regarded out of high school.

There are some other random JUCO guys that everything has been quiet on for a while. Waiting to see if anything pops up there.

Right. It's all there for Carter Young. None of it was there last year, though.

I'm not really familiar with Haas. I read a little bit about him but that's it.

Florida State just fired Jr.

Gonna make getting Tommy White a little harder for them.

Talking about Dugas’ fielding ability isn’t derailing a recruiting thread with stupid shite?

Commit to Louisville, flip to NWFSt CC, commit to Wright St, flip to LSU, transfer to OK St, transfer to Florida St. I don't think I covered all of them in there. But I think he's scheduled for the PAC 12 now if he's trying to hit all the major conferences.

Don't like that. Means UF/UTK are really in play.
