I honestly doubt Brewers and Noot have even talked money yet. They have to see how negotiations with 1-10 go before even counting their beans for Noot.

Noot has to be interested in leaving otherwise he'd come out and say he's going to LSU now. At the very least, he's still negotiating so that tells me the number can't be far off for him to leave. imo.
His twitter and instagram isnt a place he posts much. Recently he has on instagram with the Chandler deal, but that was probably required. Everything in those posts had some type of #geauxtigers or something like that. If yall are waiting for a tweet or post from him to come out and say it, yall may be waiting a while. Best bet will be Leah Vann trying to dig into it and finding something out similar to what she did with Neal.

I saw yesterday on instagram somebody posted that Noot will be a tiger and AYS SPORTS tweeted the same about him will be a tiger.
did he change his mind like paul Geverse?

No, he just never came out and said it himself.
He made a few comments that hinted at he was leaning toward LSU but nothing point blank. Just doesn't seem like the social media type of guy.

Can't really believe that when it says he withdrew his name from the draft and then he gets drafted. You can't withdraw from the draft in the middle of the draft.
I think he will make it to campus. I'm just saying he never came out himself on any social media and specifically said he was coming to LSU.

I look forward to CJJ's presser about the coaches and this year's draft!

I'm not 100% sure about it but I don't think you can completely withdraw. He may have been that stern on it that teams just didn't draft him at all. Similar to Gavin Guidry.
I may be wrong. That is how I always thought it was though.

Noot is a real gem. He's a guy that will touch upper 90's by the time he leaves LSU IMO.

High school players can formally remove their name prior to the draft only, like Kling did. They can't formally do so during the draft. Eligible college players (and juco players) cannot formally remove their name before or during the draft.
Once the draft starts, regardless of what you see on social media, calls are flying around to players with numbers.

I think he'll be upper 90s next year. He's already effortless in the mid 90s. He should be able to live there, and ramp up close to 100 whenever and however often he wants to. I'm sure Jay and Wes are talking to him as much as the Brewers.

Looks like the deadline to enter the transfer portal in 2023 will be after the draft. That's gonna be wild.
Posted on 7/20/22 at 7:04 pm to DRock88
They need to move the draft up.

For future recruiting, plenty of showcase activity going on.
Blake Mitchell has an absolute bazooka behind the plate. 2023 catcher commit from Texas. Shaping up to be a really hard pull to campus.
Trenton Lape hit some BP nukes. 2023 infield commit from Parkway.
We're likely going to need help in the infield next year, be it in the 2023 class or portal, so pay attention to guys like Lape, Steven Milam, Austen Reollig, Dylan Thompson, and MJ Seo as far as recruits go.

Do you think Jay looks to sign at least a few more kids here in the next few weeks to add to the roster? I know the general consensus (and I agree) the roster is really thick right now. But, Jay isn't afraid to use the redshirt option. He can create some insurance by getting some almost definite redshirts in, working on development, then crossing the same bridge again next year. In the meantime, you get some LA kids in that maybe flew under the radar, come to their dream school, promote the program, create some LA culture in the clubhouse, etc.

Jay is gonna see where his roster is after 1Aug and go fill the holes. That dude is not playing. You saw how he was after the loss in the regionals That is not gonna happen anytime soon if he can help it.
