Jay just said on Mikd up he considers 5-6 guys from this recruiting class to be automatically gone with the draft.
Didn’t get to hear many details other than that because I had a screaming toddler who refused to go to bed

If LSU only loses 5-6 guys from THIS class that's biscuits & gravy! I know of 4 for sure and just 2 more is a major win!

Jay Johnson was on the Maytook show. Johnson said we will definitely lose 5 and probably 6. Then there are 5 more that are going to be tight. He mentioned Guidry as one that will be close.

Dang, it was 4 guys at the presser. I’m guessing some other guys just didn’t show up to move in day and he’s chucking them up as losses.

I mentioned earlier that Jay was actually on my flight from Dallas this afternoon
Had a chance to talk a little bit. He seems like a genuinely good dude who loves to talk baseball.
He told me Romero isn’t coming
He also said they’re gonna be fine either way though with the kids they’ve got coming and what they’ve done in the portal. He said he still expects to be over on the numbers so he will have some tough decisions to make.
Also asked him about another guy in the portal everyone is waiting on and he said they’re putting together an NIL deal for him and will get his last visit before he decides
Said he feels good about their chances
