Well if we don’t get Leavitt or Sorsby then, who else is in play again?
Considering if Chambliss doesn’t get his waiver too.

Very familiar and ranked the top qb in the portal for a reason.

Lane getting lockered by Sloan. What world am I living in
The Sloan jokes write themselves but Will Stein is the brains behind the offense there and everyone knows what he’s about from his time at Oregon. I’m sure he’s the draw, despite UK’s recent rep for terrible offense.
And it doesn’t sound like it’s a done deal, either. But interesting.

quote:He's incredible, definitely, BEFORE the lisfranc injury. They did a study back in the 2010s tracking like 400 players across 4 years or so with that injury, QBs came back markedly worse than any other player. This is why I don't want him. You shell out 2-3 mill and the guy is only half the runner he was before, and that could possibly lead to another injury.
I heard it’s a little more than that. He wants to be developed and have more tools to win.
I just watched a bunch of his highlights on YouTube. He is a phenomenal talent.
Big arm
And has extreme mobility I would make the case he’s more mobile than the Ole Miss quarterback

If we can't get Chambliss or Byrum Brown and the young QBs aren't going to be picked by Lane because he wants a vet, get Sorsby and pay him what he wants.

I’m sure they are talking with agents of Williams or Underwood, but that seems like a longshot as the portal is open.
Huge drop off if we don’t land one of those 3.

As far as experience and more polish, yes. In terms of pure talent, there are still names on the board. Deuce Knight and Byrum Brown may have more than anyone, but they are a lot more risky. Brown has a lot of starting experience, but he’s been more mistake prone and has played in a more limited offense. Knight is a total wildcard, but so was Chambliss. I think we’ve seen what Kiffin and Weiss can do with raw talent at QB.
None of these guys are off the board yet. Just let it play out.

Who's he going to throw too, Kentucky has no good wide receivers there best one entered the portal.
