Patience young grasshopper. You remember Ole Miss last year right? They could have had RN commit in September, but they told him to hold off, get OM's name out their and recruit other players. It's all about momentum.
Imagine that you're a recruit who's really good at blocking d-lineman and you play for a traditional power house in northeast Louisiana. You're on the fence between two schools and you're going to announce at one of the All Star games. All of a sudden one of the schools gets 4 commits right there that night. Now imagine that all of the recruits are your' friends and come from the same state as you and all are playing for the home state team. You can't tell me that wouldn't sway a recruit.
Have faith. January is only a few months away.

This often happens when you're in on a number of big national recruits - let's just hope we have enough "Plan B" guys as insurance policies against a big collapse.

I really wish this meme would die the death it deserves. If a player strings LSU along and then announces for another school at the last minute, he is far more likely to piss people off and hear it from upset LSU fans. Look at the guys people rip the most, they are the ones that waited. Guys like Duval, Doboard, even Tim Williams had no hard feelings the way Jackson, McKnight and even Collins did. Waiting will make it worse.
