Captain Crown that in deed is the question, will he show. I’ll holla at Pops and see what he has to say about their schedule, he has gone to all visits except Tx.

Man I hope we end up with the kid from Many. I think he turns into a Patrick Queen type LB. Havent heard much on his recruiting. Do you think we get him Crown?

The top 100 now, and the top 100 in December are 2 very different lists.

To be honest, so have we. Ali Highsmith, Dwayne Bowe, Patrick Peterson and most egregiously and has us currently on probation, Vidal Alexander(among others). Stones in glass houses can be dangerous. Not a slight towards you but it's a tired excuse. We either want to be big time or we don't. If the peers we are chasing do it then maybe we should to. Or just get better at it. Question here lately is can we? Perceptionally we are not up to par in that department. Time will tell.
As for the top 10 instate, it's always a good thing if we can knock out most of the top 10. Not all top 10 year to year are wanted nor are they equal but always a plus. That baseline is critical and common. It's beyond the top 10 instate and what we accomplish OOS that makes the difference generally. Many are questioning that portion of the class currently.(myself included) That also makes McKinley, Mack and Singleton much more vital. McKinley far more. We have no comparable OOS candidate to account for missing on him. Poor Lindsay isn't gonna know what hit him if Frank misses.

Very impressive if that comes to fruition…usually at least a couple want to head out of state.

If you don’t get the 5 stars I wouldn’t consider it a lock down.

Don't think LA has any 5*s for 2024, but def some high 4s...

Please do. That would be pretty telling one way or the other

For years we were told that if we lock down the state and get a few need players from OOS we will win championships.
Now we do that exact thing and folks say we are not recruiting at a high level.
I chuckle.

Yall keep saying this.
Guys like evan Stewart and moose Muhammad are elite. They have a good o line. They ran the ball down lsu's throat last year.
They are stacking on defense too. Eventually it will pay off.
I'm more worried about lsu's recruiting. It Def seems like an nil issue to a certain extent.
Lsu will always have a top 10 class. You just need those few elite guys every year. I'm not even talking about just five stars.
But the d line recruiting is lacking thus yr. Last year's class was extremely good imo.
