I know per prospect, he can have one official visit to your campus and unlimited unofficial visits. What I don't know is what are the bounds for contacts for a prospect off campus. I'm not talking periods of time but to make it simple, is there an maximum number of in person, off-campus contacts?

I will say that this staff seems to be cloning themselves. They are all over the map which is great!

Just as an example, you're asking how many times the staff could go across campus to say hi to Keylan?

That might be an exception to a normal situation so let's use Buford, GA prospects which LSU seems to love to go after. How many times can LSU actually talk to him at his HS or make an in-home visit? I'm also excluding sitting in the stands watching a game. And I'm also excluding phone calls...I'm talking in person-contacts away from LSU.

The following article discusses the proposed changes to NCAA recruiting rules from this past year. Prior rules were 6 off-campus visits/only one per week during Sr. year during approved contact periods.

quote from article:

"Off-campus recruiting contacts could not be made with an individual (or the individual's family members) before Jan. 1 of the individual's junior year in high school.

A school would be limited to eight off-campus, in-person contacts with a prospective student-athlete and the prospect's family members for the prospect's junior and senior years combined.

Contact could occur only one time per week."
