I'm sure LSU is working as hard as they need to...many times over-persistence is a turn-off, at least that appeared to be the case with me back in high school with respect to the head cheerleader.

Fournette's father, Leonard II, told 247Sports' Kipp Adams on Wednesday night his son will visit Alabama, Southern Cal, Michigan and Florida.

He added Miami "is likely" to receive the fifth visit. Fournette II also listed LSU as a top school.

For those who want to see his top 5 but not give that gump rag a website hit

LF has been to almost every single LSU home game for the past three years. He will be at LSU games this year. He only gets 5 officials.... It's not like he won't be here on an unofficial when we play aTm.

If LF goes to BAMA...it will single handily be the biggest recruiting heart break ever for LSU fans

What player would be bigger in terms of feeling like a loss? At least what's his face went to USC

going to Bama? OMG!!!

Doc, I sincerely hope you are right.

You think the family is playing this up since he is a national player?

We have to have him...

Les should say, "We want you and we need you"

Honestly LF can't go wrong with either Bama or LSU. Either way he comes up a big winner. Bama may not need LF but LSU does. If all LSU signs at running back in 2 years is Sione P. then that's not good for LSU. One undersized SEC running back in 2 classes isn't a good thing. I am sure if LF goes anywhere else LSU likely has a back up plan. The problem is there are no players even close to comparable to LF that LSU is in the running for.

Did Boo do your girlfriend? First you ask about Grayshirting him on the day he earned his offer, now you put him down, by name, trying to make a point. Everybody knows signing one RB in two years would be bad, but you choose to take a shot at an 18 yr old hiding behind your computer screen. Apparently, LSU feels differently than you, so please excuse those of us that trust their judgement over one who's claim to fame is "I knew Landon Collins in HS." Douche.

If LF were to go elsewhere, LSU would still land 2 elite backs this class, Sione and another top tier back because of our ability to offer immediate playing time. An elite level back that's committed to another school would definitely entertain the idea of coming here if the presented situation of LF going elsewhere did occur. Though I don't feel that situation will occur.

Also, Palelei is not necessarily undersized per say, he's just not 5'11. but he's definitely a rock solid 200+. He is a great runner between the tackles and has great hands out of the backfield. I believe the Ray Rice comparisons are accurate.

That "undersized" back will be a great change of pace back to compliment LF. LF is gonna be a Tiger. Him not taking an official here kinda gives that away a little and we're gonna hear more pro-gump(and other schools) stuff from the LF camp to throw us off. He's ESPN's #1 overall player(they are telling him to drum up the suspence imo) and he wants his day to be epic just like most other recruits do. He's not gonna let us get comfortable thinking he's a "lock." He wants everyone to be on pins and needles awaiting his decision. It only happens once. He's a special player. He wants his moment to be must see tv and he'll get it. This "chicken little" syndrome our fan base seems to have needs to disappear.
