When they are used to seeing top flight players with nfl and championship talent. They know the potential and body types when they see it.

Repeat, he was a 4 star.....

You keep harping on this and forget to mention when he was a no name 2 star without any offers until LSU came along.

I dare you to find a 4 star who isn't committed that isn't sought after....trust me, TM7 got calls from everyone...he just told em they were wasting their time...

After the fact. His recruitment didn't pick up early. You can continue to state that he was this highly sought after player but the fact of the matter is that nobody recruited him for shite until he committed to LSU. Giving him a bump in the rankings post commitment doesn't really bode well for your argument.

You are misinformed.

Incorrect that Frank had to convince Les to take Mathieu. Mathieu committed months before Frank was hired.

After researching, yes it was an erroneous report that I read regarding FW involvement with TM7.

When a NOLA kid commits to LSU, other schools know it's pretty much over, and they don't bother anymore. Don't confuse "not highly recruited" with "not highly regarded."

The possibility exists that TM7 was highly regarded. Not saying he wasn't. There are many kids who are highly regarded yet not highly recruited. My point is TM7 was looked over for the same reason 'YOU' mentioned regarding Saban's concern over a lack of measurables and his offer sheet was a direct reflection of it. That's all I'm saying. I do respect your perspective on it though.

DE or maybe LB. I see him as a DE...6'1" doesn't have to be the be all end all, especially in college.

Especially since low man usually wins.
