LB recruiting hs been worse than QB.
Think we only signed 1 LB last year.
Might see some safeties beef up or we go to a 5 1 5 defense

Could this be like a few years ago when we took no running backs in preparation for LF. Doesnt sound like they went after any other besides Lewis. Banking on big numbers next year.

Why didn't we go after McGinnis?

so much for the "but Steele is a great recruiter" myth
Considering where LSU was recruiting and where they finished, I would say yes, they did damn good.

Really Stands out like a sore thumb so there must be a plan

Would be surprised to see a full transition to a 3-4, but I would definitely expect to see some packages utilizing a lighter/quicker DE i.e. Neal, Teumeha or Arden Key, having them line up as an outside backer.
I am curious as to why Ronnie Feist has not taken a redshirt. If he did that would give us a solid additional option at LB for next year (assuming he stayed) while we bridge the gap between Beckwith/Garrett and the future.

Sucks. He was the biggest need in this class. We're going to be hurting after next season even if we have a rich LB class coming up. It's absolutely stupid not to get LBs now so they can be ready when most leave after next year. We're going to be fielding a lot of freshmans who will be lost after next season.
I have no idea how LB has been so overlooked in this class.

I never blame a kid for staying home but I concur, this is one we could have really used. Of course we do have Garrett sitting in the stable ready alongside Beckwith.
