When you're an extra hat on the table for so many kids that's a glowing reservation at how LSU is viewed among the recruits. They're seen as an elite university so when you have hats like Georgia, Bama, LSU on there but have no intention to commit to them, it's showing your prestige level. They should be proud they're recruited by the high end. That does not mean LSU is getting left at the altar. There's other factors to this like if LSU is even pursuing hard. LSU might not be as high on him as Texas is so they're just not pressing. Does this apply to all recruits? No, some we're just being out recruited on.
