Some of my connected Bama fans are saying that Landon is a done deal to Bama. I certainly hope they are full of shite but if I had to guess I think he will choose Bama on January 5th. I think that the girlfriend is following him to Bama not the other way around. That only makes sense that she would go where he goes. I am usually very positive when it comes to top talent Louisiana recruits and LSU. I did make a bet with one of my Bama friends a couple of weeks ago when he was bragging that they had Collins in the bag. He was spewing the same shite when Tyler Edwards was being recruited a few years back and I bet him then as well. Let's hope it turns out to be the same outcome this time around. It would really piss me off if Collins chooses Bama and would be the really first Louisiana recruit Saban got that would be an impact player for them and the first Louisiana player that we really wanted bad that chose Saban over Miles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. Geaux Tigers

Dandy Don still thinks LSU is in good shape for landing LC. He usually has a good feel for these things, let's hope he's right. Hopefully, Eric Reed will help reel him in. With Collins in the stable, what a recruiting class!

WAFB reported he said he hadn't made up his mind. He said he'd use the 1 and a half flight to Orlando to think about it and make a choice. Then He'll keep it a secret until his 'announcement' during the game.

I don't believe any of this. He's an 18 year old male. He made his decision months ago and will keep making a decision (ie changing his mind) at least until he declares, and maybe again after that until NSD.

Agreed. I think that he is right down the middle. I always felt really good about him, but I am getting nervous recently.

I dont see why people are pissed. At some poi.t everyone on our team looked at another school or was courted by another school. Ruben Randle is still fresh in my mind, even when dmitch was posting peeps were still freaking out saying he was gone to bama, les miles cant lock down the state. Wasnt Hill looking at bama hard? Ive even heard he would have gone there if it wasnt for the legal troubles. If Collins ends up at bama and he will just have to deal with being 2nda best to LSU.

Not neccesarily true Linkovich, maybe you and I don't know - but that doesn't exclude everyone that may be on this board... there have been family and close friends of recruits in the past that posted here.

Miami was not even in RRs top 3. His brother is a Miami fan, but I dont think he was ever seriously considering them. LSU, Bama, and OU were his top 3.

The GF is a legitimate conversation IMO. Its not like we're posting her pic, her name, and her phone number. She's just "the GF".
So there's the possibility that LC made his decision long ago to attend bama, and the GF is following him by going there. Its hard to imagine she wouldnt want to ride his coat-tails.
Unless of course he wants to be single in college.
