If your asking like if he were to be ranked among other top LA prospects.
in the past 5 years i would say based strictly on potential coming out of highschool
1. Rueben Randle
2. Joe McKnight
3. La'el Collins
4. Freak
5. Landon Collins
6. Chad Jones
7. Jarvis Landry
8. Janzen Jackson

Randle might be the most talented WR in the SEC this upcoming year (and argueably was last year)

Doucet and Clayton both played QB their SR year

Wow I thought he'd be in that 20 range with Doucet and Clayton.

I'd put Janzen Jackson ahead of Landry and Collins, remember the meltdown when he switched to Tennessee? He was a top 20 player in the nation I believe. If we are talking potential coming out of high school

How do we know that?
Hes just not the receiver Green, Jones and Jeffery are yet. Reuben Randall's strength is what he can do after the catch. Ive seen very few players at his size be able to cut and shift the way he does. I just think those other guys attack the ball better, making them better receivers at the moment. I am curious what Reuben could do in an offense like Oklahoma's.

Huh??? Jones will be an All-Pro in the NFL. His combine #'s were off the charts. He's the real deal.

What is the general opinion comparing epxectations of Collins vs. Loston coming out of high school?

Negative. Off the charts means the opposite of seeing something everyday. His size and speed are extremely rare.

I don't think Randle was better than Green or JJ last year
I'd add Alshon Jeffrey to that list also. We need better qb play to determine how great RR really is

I see Landon Collins being capable of being an Ed Reed or Laron Landry type player. Collins has a 42 plus inch vertical jump. He has a 10'6" broad jump. He is just under 6' and weighs 210 lbs as a safety and runs a 4.4 and has run sub 4.4 laser time. Those are NFL combine numbers. Plus I have seen him play and hit people. LC is as much of a freak as "Freak" athletically. I also know LC is off the charts in the weight room. When I compare him to his former high school teammate (who also plays safety) LC is a better high school football player than Eric Reid was at this point in his career. I would say LC was better as a junior the Reid was as a senior.

Someone posted on our boards he that Collins was hanging with Saban today at camp. Did he already leave LSU? This person ia apparantly working the camp and saw him there.

He wasn't at LSU today. So it's possible, but still looking like LSU's to lose

If he was there asking him what shirt, shorts, hat, and most of all socks that collins or his cousin were wearing.

I'm talking about pure receiving skills. Julio was bigger and faster, A.J. maybe a better jumper (and pushoff artist) and Alshon Jeffrey had better hands, but I don't think you could say they were superior to Randle in every way. I think Randle is on par with Julio when it comes to catching the ball, and I would say he's as fast as Jeffrey. I would say Randle is as good as Julio at YAC as well. Randle makes so many defenders miss. See his TD catches vs Bama and AU.
No one thinks he's as good because of his stats. Were he in a better offense, he'd be putting up sick numbers. Toliver's game vs A$M should've been a regular occurance (the yards, not the 3 TDs).
