What would happen if Miles didnt acccpt Collins' verbal to LSU because he had an uncomittable offer? Could Geismar break away from Louisiana and form its own goverment and a flagship university for their own? I wonder if ESPN would love them since they hated LSU so much.

The thread was originally full of "lsu lock" type of comments. I disagree. I never said he hates lsu. I never said the community hates lsu. I said they don't care about it nearly as much as you would wish. I never said watching a game at my in laws. You guys are clueless. If you lived out there you probably know me and don't realize it.
I won't be convinced he is an LSU lock until next year if/when the LOI comes in. I hope I have a ton of crow to eat next year on this. I really do. But like it or not, the community doesnt push kids to LSU. Dutchtown does. Their peers do, some of their neighbors may, the kids they ride the buswith does, the lunchlady does. I'm just saying. You won't catch many lsu shirts on Saturdays. Disagree all you want, it's still true

I can't believe I just read this whole thread big waste. I'm glad I don't get worked up over these recruits anymore. Its a long ways off to national signing day obviously. Anyways I think his childhood favorite teams were Ohio State and Miami?

You are a fool. Ascnsion Parish and Livingston Parish are the most pro-LSU parishes out side of Baton Rouge. If LSU cant lock up the best player in state that lives 20 miles from lsu and in a huge pro-lsu area, they should reconsider their recruiting tactics. I went to school in Ascension Parish, and I have a sister who has class with Landon Collins. She said he talks a lot about both LSU and Bama. I would be shocked if a kid that close to home picks Bama over LSU. He would be booed at his high school if he picked Bama. My sister was there when Lacy picked bama and she said the entire room was silent when he put the hat on even though he didnt have an lsu offer.

I said it's a bama/lsu fight. My issue wasn't with the OP. I never replies to him. My issue is with you blind homers that think he is already a lock to LSU.
