Well, we learned that he made the decision official to his parents the Friday before Christmas (interviewed afterwards)

Which suggest the staff on Tuesday before that Friday said to Kiel "we accept your pledge, but sleep on it and make sure with your folks".. We had a major post that Tuesday night from Kginben.

That's basically what happened..

I read a post on scout that suggested that LC's decision has been made up for a few days.

I read another post that was a direct conversation with Thomas Collins that suggested that Alabama really isn't that close and never has been.... but sometimes wording in a post can be confusing, but that's how I read it.

Who knows? we will find out soon
