Anybody's guess whether the Thomas tweet has validity but it got Shea's attention enough to retweet it and reiterated the announcement to come in the 4th quarter.

I dont think Thomas would tweet that if he didnt think that, and he's a good source. But why would he announce it for LC? It seems like LC has been wanting the suspense

Good or bad, this is one case where it will all come out in the wash.
It did for McKnight, Janzen Jackson, Reuben Randle, etc.
People are not going to let this one die without answers. I'm guessing details will quickly follow his announcement.

That means even if he didn't talk to Saban or Miles, which he said he would do Wednesday night, somebody associated with the program did talk to him, and were led to believe his intentions were to sign with them.
Both sides associated with their respective programs, people who have access to staff, are saying he's coming.
