Someone made a statement a few pages back...maybe 100 pages back, I don't remember, but they said that we would know by all the chatter around the message boards yesterday and this morning. It seems all the chatter is pointing to Alabama.
It sure seems like LC is trying to soften the blow to the Louisiana faithful by the statements he has made.
Some of you are supremely confident that he will end of at LSU. I sure wish I shared your sentiment.

this doesnt worry me... i think he likes creating uncertainty so his annoucement will be a suprise.
What worrys me is all the Bama chatter and the LSU silence.

If he picks Alabama today, and has told the LSU coaches that he was picking Alabama today, it's no surprise that LSU would continue to be tight-lipped.
LC's recruitment does not end today, and they know that. Even if he picks Bama today, they will continue to recruit him with everything they've got. There's no reason to go spewing the bad news and risk damaging any trust/relationship that has been built up. If indeed he told our coaches, it's certainly no surprise that they're tight-lipped and just going to continue recruiting him the same way they've been doing the whole time.
All that said, according to reports, he has not told the LSU coaches that he is committing to Alabama (actually, he supposedly has told the LSU coaches the exact opposite). So this whole post is probably moot.
Personally, I believe that he has led both coaching staffs to believe that they will be receiving a commitment from him. Not that he's come out and said "I'm going to ___." but more he's lead both coaching staffs to believe that they are the leader.

I've kept up with this thread pretty faithfully, but did anyone give a reason why she wasn't in Orlando. LC was clearly upset by this fact.

Some will tell you he hasn't even told the Bama coaches he's committed to Bama..if that's the truth I'd like to know where all this stuff is coming from.

It's coming from other recruits. that's where all the Bama chatter is coming from. If we're going by what coaches have been told, then LC is going to LSU.
Right or wrong, Collins is "playing the game" and using other recruits to help build suspense.

You don't think that the Bama people are putting it out there about themselves because they know he is picking LSU and are trying to make him rethink his commitment? Remember, recruiting is the nasty underbelly of college football that most people never see.

Why are so many LSU posters over in the bama thread on the SECR. The same thread started by Trolltyder who said Frank Wilson might lose his job because of LC to bama.

I also find it hard to believe a Louisiana kid that LSU really wants would commit to an OOS school (especially Bama) before national signing day.
My pessimistic side thinks it's going to be Bama, but all rational thoughts point to it being LSU.

Life , but I would love nothing more than for LC to have given his announcement to NS and have it all leaked to the gumps.
Let their whole fan base tell us how " they are 100% " sure
that lc is going to bama.how he's told their coaches, and every
reliable bama mod that " has never been wrong" is saying it's
a done deal.only to slam the Alabama hat on the floor and

Since he's arrived in Orlando, or his entire recruitment for this matter, he has gone back and forth, back and forth between BAMA and LSU. Two days ago it was all LSU, yesterday it was all BAMA. What makes people believe he won't have a change of heart today or by NSD which is about a month away

I couldn't possibly agree more. If he chose Bama, the back-lash would be far more severe than when McKnight chose USC because it's right next door, and a conference opponent. He would have to play at least twice in Tiger Stadium.
