I know this would never happen b/c his g/f's mama would never let it happen ( as the school counselor who also got Sentimore and Lacy eligible ) but it would be absolutely hilarious if he were academically ineligible.

Saban would never let that happen. If the system can get Trevor Lacey (BB player) qualified, he'd have to be illiterate not to get in.
One thing everyone is missing on the GF. He's not following her there, she's following him. He said he chose Bama 2 yrs ago and they hadn't been dating that long. So, more than likely she chose Bama because he said he was going there. I'm certain she could have a scholly at LSU just like she got one at Bama.

Anyone remember that he said he'd commit to the winner of the (first, Nov) game. But who won! Nothing more said. No way he's changing his mind.
I just hate the (growing) perception that maybe the walls of fortress Louisiana have been breached. Admittedly part of that is 'cause we can't take all the good kids, or that they're not qualified.

I have let him go, however with his friendship with a few buddies on the Tiger team and his timing of his commitment, just a week before the game, I hope he didn't somehow find out about the game plan and run to saban and tell.

you have wrapped up everyone's conspiracy theory into one post - congrats on pulling it all together in one post.
That being said you could not be farther from the truth, that was no acting on his mother's part and if it was she is wasting her talents and should move to Hollywood she will win an Oscar. So his father not being on the stage and his mother's obvious discord from her son's decision was all a well staged plan? Nah no more Rock Star for you my man!!!
That was just an 18 year old kid making a decision that his parents were not in favor of, wasn't the first kid to make such a decision and will not be the last. Let it go bro, it is done an over with. Let's worry about who is left rather than who we lost!!!

Ok, you guys need to get some things straight. The gf has had a benz for some time, her mom has one too. Don't ask me how they afford it but they have always had nice cars, BMW's before that. I guess the lease deals are pretty sweet. Landon has wanted Bama for years. I was told him and Shelby Christy fell in love with the place when they went to a camp, so look for another dtown recruit to go to bama. I for one hate that Landon won't be at LSU but that's how it goes. The gf has wanted to go to bama for some time since before they started dating. Did bama smooth some things over for her, who knows. But to say LC followed her to bama is simply not true.

FWIW...i know some ppl that have sn her play Bb when she was healthy and said she would hv trouble getting a ride to a CC. Fact! this person has 10-11 exp. in the sport and has good knowledge of the sits. So i dont know if the GF got a trainer scholly or VB scholly (HIGHLY DOUBTFUL). But this is super fishy...... maybe this changes...not sure, but those are the facts.......IDK what to thk..bama giving schollys to others-to pull from the area....not sure that is possible..a fkin GF??? wow...i cant belive that....The 2 yrs in the making-sounds kinda crazy, as well....again, how did this chick get the scholly?? oooo well hope he comes to LSU...if not I hope he nvr is a factor when he plays against us
