coaches. Step your game up. Football, Baseball, and Men's Basketball supposedly are more appreciated than Women's Basketball. She's about to change that.

I completely agree, I could not possibly care less about the gals with one important exception. The clout Mulkey brings to LSU (even though her sport doesn't matter in general) will spur LSU to invest in BOTH programs. This might not have happened without her hire.
The political climate in the country may have played a role in her hire, and the money she's being paid. Regardless, it will help The General.

Fair enough. But don't you know EVERYTHING is political now? Sports should be an escape from everyday life, but wacko libs refuse to allow it to be.
