I am hearing from a friend of mine who worked for the TAF for several years that Todd Washington will be named OL coach no later than Sunday. Don't shoot the messenger!! I am just basing that on his info.

Either way he is a solid hire for the Tigers. As far as recruiting goes? Look who he'd be replacing. Studrawa was inept at best at recruiting. It's not like Stud was bringing in anyone noteworthy. Name one quality recruit that committed to LSU because of Stud?
Just the recruiting potential that comes with a name like Kevin Mawae brings to the table is better than anything Stud offered.

VERY seldomhave great players become great coaches in any sport. The most successful that I can think of, and some would debate if it was because of him, lso Bill Russell, but he had himself as a player.
I think they were so naturally gifted, they can't understand why other players cannot do what they found so easy.
