Ole Miss probably has a bigger need for WR’s since Chris Marshall got the boot.

Sure he doesn't. He just got all these transfers out of the goodness of their hearts to join LSU and improve stock. Don't be stupid and naive. He plays NIL like anyone else because if you don't, you're not getting the players. He may not play the bidding wars but he knows you still have to pay a player to come over. Wouldn't shock me if he did on a player he knew would be an impact player.

Paying guys using NIL and “playing the NIL game” are two very different things. If you listen to national recruiting analysts, most will tell you that LSU, Bama, UGA, Michigan and OSU are among the schools who are NOT just dropping bags for signatures. They are using a brand association and long-term approach to NIL as part of a full package. They may target a particular player here and there (like we did with Harold Perkins), but none of them are regularly engaging with players who are looking at nothing but NIL when it comes to their school decision.

Guys looking for nothing but a payday will always have some school willing to throw more money at them. Auburn is right now (because they have to). Same with UF. USC, Miami and Colorado definitely are. A&M did it for a season for recruits, but seems to have pulled back since the results were mixed. I think we will see some of these programs moderate their approach after they either finish rebuilding or have locker room issues Like A&M did.

The biggest programs aren’t going to do this unless they are forced to. At some point things may change, but so far they are still pulling the same kinds of classes without dropping millions in bags up front. Losing the occasional money chaser hasn’t hurt any of them yet.

At the other places he would likely start
