We offered Ike Hilliard a scholarship, but as a defensive back and not at wide receiver like he was coming out of high school. Looks like he made a good call sticking at wide receiver with FL.

From what I can tell, he shows a lot of patience as a runner, especially for his age, and looks to be able to bounce of tacklers on the line due to his size - and that could be greatly improved mechanically. His ability to cut for his size is top notch, IMO, but overall I wasn't overly impressed with that free video. Does it seem like he's as fast as his 40y time says he is?
Hopefully I'll get to see him play in the next couple years. How far is Patterson from the Red, 2 hours? Do they play any schools closer than that?

I think Trovon Reed ran in the 4.55-4.60 range at the same combine, so I imagine a lot of the generic 4.4 guys really run about 4.65-4.7.

i was at that game on the video at the end when he is in white and the other team is in black.and the first td he scores on them when he started in the middle then cut to his left and took it to the outside for about a 80 yd td he running faster than a 4.8 i promise u that.he is fast for his size.
