Exactly. At this point last season alot of people were excited about him. Then I saw some film and his senior year without a dominant WR on the other side. Hes a solid WR, but not really special, and I didnt mind taking him to keep instate guys here and continue the Rayville pipeline, but he was never a top target in my mind. Like I said before, good luck to the kid, go and prove me wrong.

But just like if we wouldve gotten Kendall Kelly, its not that big of a deal. Solid WR, could play some, but behind alot of better WRs in my mind. Ive talked to alot of Bama fans who felt the same about KK. They would take him for the sake of keeping him away from LSU, but it wasnt a big deal.

Of course Miles failed to mention, that after he "pulled" Davis' scholly, he came to his house begging him to sign with LSU. You haven't heard that part of the story have you?

According to Green he was. Miles never denied it. Where are you getting this super secret, hidden recruiting information about who has a firm offer, a soft-offer, a conditional offer, etc? Even IF he was never offered by Miles--that in no way proves he isn't a good player or a legit 4-star like all the services ranked him. Green got on the field as a TF last year and will play a good bit more this year. He's a very good DB. If Miles fails to offer a 4-star in-state DB who signs with another power house program led by Saban who is a secondary specialist....maybe that says more about Miles than it does about Green.

Another stupid decision by Miles. Why not offer this kid early on? If he doesn't make it...who cares? It's not like he takes up a spot if he doesn't qualify. Then you have the inside road after prep or JUCO. So Miles tries to get him late...and Sentimore tells him where he can stick his offer.

We'll see about that. Bama needs a stud slot WR in the worst way. Bell could fit that bill. I'm guessing he play a good bit this year, and maybe be a starter by next year.

Still waiting for you to show me the first La. 3-star Saban has signed since at Bama. So far he has landed 5 consensus 4-stars out of La. I expect he'll pull 2-3 more in 2010.

A local news station here did a segment on him a few days before signing day where they visited with Lacy in his home. He said he had to make straight A's the rest of the year to qualify.
