Seems like if that happened, there would be some embellishing and outright lying by recruit.

Happens all the time.

20.8 speed in 200...6.0 hands on football field ...he needs to get some reps in offense that throws the ball 30-35 times so we can see if he can catch. Remember in college all db are fast and linebackers too!

He's perfect cornerback size if he can't catch. An athlete like that will settle somewhere

He can catch.

I was at 7 of his games last year.

Not saying he doesn't have them, but a cornerback's hips are every bit as important as their speed. He'll need those to be an elite CB.

Boutte turned 17 today.

Some 2020 recruits will be turning 19 in a few months.

He’s strong and fast.

Never has had a pure QB throwing him the ball, either. It’s been ATH’s at QB for his team.

At 17, his future looks strong.

Rivals has him listed at 5’11” 185. The other runners must be very small, or he is experiencing a growth spurt.

Why is his offer list not very impressive for a talent like him? He's my favorite recruit we have committed so far?

Bama offered. And he followed with a tweet today tagged #BoottoBama.

So that sucks.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. His family and his coach are very pro-LSU
