Of course he goes up, he's going to badama. That's how these services are, if saban offers they must be good.

It's very suspect. He's never even played ILB, and he doesn't have very good lateral movement at all.

He's now rated higher than Palmer, Davis, Lee, Starks, etc.

Starks was a 5-star ILB a year ago. He was the #1 rated ILB nationally. Harris was rated a very low 4-star ATH. What changed?

Harris is now rated higher at ILB than Starks, and Starks is a low-mid 4-star and 10th at his position in the country. It's a joke.

McCallum should be rated higher than Harris, too.

It is a good time for ALL of us to show 247 our appreciation of dinging our recruits by us all DROPPING our subscription to 247 insider services. It is may too obvious what they are doing when you compare KARDELL new numbers to the other ranking services, and it is apparent that they are trying to bring his composite score down as well …

247 really embarrassed themselves with Kardell.

Absurd.

Agree. I still am shocked about it. I was a big fan of Barton and have always liked Wilftong but something's wrong over there. They're either pandering or just blindly throwing shite at the wall.
The top can't really be dissected and blame thrown because we all know who the top guys are from reading articles. However as they get into the last 150 or so they can really blow the composite. We have always thought ESPn was the outlier, and they are with Stingley and a few others but they're better than these. When I actually agree with Rivals final rankings more than anyone else's, that's a problem. I'm never gonna be called a fan of Farrell but his guys have the best rankings this year.

But at least ESPN has Stingley in the top 20 overall and the top rated corner.

I have no idea what 247 is doing here. Starks 6 spots behnd someone who's never even play the position he's being evaluated at and Kardell not even making the list are pretty silly.

I don't have much of a problem with guys like Ika and Davis dropping a few spots. That kind of stuff happens and 10-15 spots is fairly insignificant.

This is a perfect example of why, given the arbitrary nature of recruiting rankings, that it's a bad idea to get overly concerned about where a team ranks within the top 10. It's nearly impossible to determine if the 3rd ranked class is actually better than the 7th.

I previously considered 247 the best.

They lost a lot of my respect today.

Fishy indeed.

Don't worry, they will be dropping Stingley and Emery about 10 spots too shortly. What a bunch of freaking clueless, bias jackasses running these recruiting sites.

Or if the seventh ranked class is better than the 11th. But the 3rd ranked class is definitely better than the 11th, right?

Definitely? I'm not sure how you can make any definitive statements about recruiting.
