"LSU is the state school, so why not?” Jason explained. “I haven’t seen what they’ve did so far, but with the two new quarterbacks coming in, it’s looking like change.

“They’re in the mix … somewhere. Everyone is even and everybody has a chance. I’m going to be fair about it. I’m committed to Kansas, but LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss are all tied in second.”

I still don't get committing and then talking about the other schools you want to give a "fair" look at. Just don't make a commitment.

I'll play the dumb arse Kansas coach, hey kid just commit to me now, and if you change your mind that's fine. This will give you the attention of committing, and gives us the attention that we getting recruits. see win/win.

Do you remember what happened? Everyone believed it to be a power play by NOLA coaches/players to get the Kansas coach hired by LSU. No one thinks it sticks.

Stay in Kansas... plays too many games and is easily replaced.

Well he got a promotion and raise out of it at least so I guess it did work to an extent.

How's his grades? He's a dominant player yet has been dropping like a rock in the rankings. That's usually a sign someone doesn't look like they will qualify

No one believed that except silly children on TD. You guys are dumb enough to think this is over. And I'm a very big LSU fan. I just don't come equipped with unwarranted arrogance.

Everything I've heard from recruiting media people is that grades are a MAJOR concern

How many WR's will LSU take? Seems Louisiana has a bunch of very good receivers this year with one being ranked the top player in the state. The #6 receiver in state (Dandy's site) is committed. 24/7 has 3 receivers in La ranked ahead of DJ and one right below 10 & 11. Brennan Eagles and others from TX.

He would be a nightmare in the slot and running those jet sweeps. His leaping ability is top notch. Always high-points the ball.

Not a single LSU poster ever said this was over.
