My son played AAA football with JG. The only problem JG had at that age was his temper. I do not know about his temperament now but if you can get in his head he did make angry decisions when he was younger. We would get penalized many times because of his anger and coach would have no choice but to take him out of game

I like a DT with a hot streak. We need some swag back on the line.

As previously stated, pad level is the key against someone much stronger.

I watched a little film of your son and he's capable of handling his matchup. I'd say the game will be won/lost elsewhere.

I can tell MHS has a good OL coach.

Appreciate that. Would love it if that comes to pass.

My kid played opposite of dumbass Cam Robinson when we played West Monroe. It wasn’t a fun night for the kid, but he survived. Even got to “Tiger Bait” the traitor once. He said Cam had a voice like a little girl, but he was a frikin beast to handle. Look at it as a memory making moment for your kid.

Seems like he showed that fire tonight, which I have no issues with. Coach O and Co will contain that with him.

You mean JG trying to fight teammates and coaches, yes he showed that... couldn't see what started it

Did not see this thread previously but it happened tonight. Last time I saw that at a high school game was Caleb Roddy.

Y’all, that was freaking inSANE. ASH scored on the first drive of the third quarter to go up 12-0. Skippers scored 13 straight and survived the last second field goal to upset the no. 3 seed.

I can honestly say my son played his best game ever against the best competition to date. JG played over center and my son had him pretty much all night. I’m very proud of him and the whole team. The OL had an outstanding game. 99, 94 and 93 for ASH are very talented and Dragna had our guys ready. Even after Tott was injured, the offense really came up huge.

I didn’t see what happened after the game, but during the game it was very chippy. Both teams made mistakes and had bad penalties but it seemed to affect ASH more. The number of illegal substitution penalties was crazy. I don’t want to comment on the postgame events because I didn’t witness them first hand, but it sounded bad.

Can’t wait to watch the film.
