Just curious how we didn’t land Jacob Washington

He was a top performer at the state championships. He signed with Michigan. With all the receivers we lost out on seems like we shoulda been in on him?

They didn't even try to get him.
We will have to see how he develops in the next few yrs.
This receiver class was a fail imo. You only brought in 2 receivers. Numbers wise that's bad.
Hopefully they can get a young guy out the portal with 2 or 3 yrs left.

Why? Michigan and Missouri only 2 were on him. Even the Michigan writers scoffed at his updated ranking. And I believe they didn't take him even after all the misses because they intended to get wrs from the portal. And they are killing it. We got one of the best signed another one is rumored to be signing and top 5 for another one and he hasn't even visited yet. I don't think we take another one though. And if it comes down to it we can get back in the portal next year and do the same

BK hasn’t had success yet with any WR he’s recruited out of high school here. A lot of that goes in to players wanting instant gratification without putting in the time cutting their teeth.
