Just a thought

So, most everyone is in agreement the ship has sailed on Franks and I am fine with it. I want kids playing for the Tigers because they love it there, not because they had no other options.
But a thought, Eason is looking around and his qb coach said he did not want to go to Miami because of an existing starter who will be a junior who is solid at the starter and an incoming qb commit. But why would LSU not go after Eason instead of Franks at this point? I know the obvious reasons of the offense doesn't throw it and all, but we have no current qb commit and I would sell him on the fact he would have the chance to win the job for a potential NC team.

Because he has no interest in signing here.

Sorry, didn't realize you were the Jacob Eason expert on the board.
I am just saying it is worth a call or a visit to try to pursue the option.

You don't think they gauged the interest of a Georgia QB rated #1 in the country?

He is from Washington state.
Again, not saying he is a lock or anything, and maybe they did talk to him, but it would seem they could sell what we have now that Richt is gone and most of the other schools in the country either have their qb on the roster or committed.

Our coaches have definitely contacted him at some point over the last 2 years. He doesn't want to play here. It's ok, we'll find people who do.

Cam contacted Eason after Franks' decommitment.
He's down to UGA and UF. If he was interested in LSU, his actions would indicate it.
