cancelled his texas trip today for this weekend it appears lsu is looking very good for him since according to him that that texas will not offer since they have tyrone swoopes

I will be pleased but not ecstatic.
JT is number 1 on my wishlist. But the more I watch of him and Connor mitch, the more disappointed I get.
Neither are that super elite qb I wanted. They both have some flaws or gaps. Will need to see more but I question jt passing ability and Connor mitch can't through deep.

How often does LSU sign elite. QBs? Just accept that they can't/won't do it.

You need to look at the link posted by Glen Oaks. His highlight tape looked pretty good to me. I don't see any resemblance to JJ. This kid looks to have an above average arm & accurate. He runs the option extremely well. He outran several different opponents on the keeper or scramble. He threw a few deep balls where his receiver never broke stride. I hope we get his commitment.

Every player has flaws, including the "super elite" guys.
Both these kids can play, IMO. It's not as if we're going after Stevie Douglas or something.

You can't evaluate a damn quarterback off of highlight tape. I want to see game film. Of course, I'll never get it, why would I? But almost any qb can look great if you take their top 10 passing plays of their career. I get excited by our camp offers in the summer. Those guys can ball.

I enjoy his video and again, reminds me a lot of Robert Griffin at that point of his career, not the Griffin that just won the Heisman. They have video of Griffin in high school on there and the videos look eerily similar

really hope we get this guy. recent history shows that ut picks the wrong guy at qb. look at nfl draft this year.

JT needs to seriously look at some school that will utilize his running talents, somewhere like Nebraska.. They are elite for the QB position. Dude is lightning quick and decisive, his passing skills are ok for a college recruit. He looks like a running QB who can throw.
