It's a shame that their parents and community couldn't influence them to stay in state.

Good thing parents and the community didn't influence Shep to stay in Texas.

Let him go!!! We don't want his kind!!!! We want kids that want to play championship football and obviously he doesn't, so lets move on.

There are bigger fish. This kid is good, but not worth time wasting on especially if he isnt nearly as good as his brother who hasnt turned out so great.

I'm pretty sure the family is jacked, which is probably why these kids don't feel a need to stick around

Joe reportedly lived with many people and in different places - even Shreveport for a while - when he was in high school... so no real sense of family or stability I wouldn't guess

I have never seen Jonathan play live, but I honestly don't see him as a big loss ...his brother certainly was though

What is it about the McKnight brothers that thy don't really show an interest about being associated with the state of Louisiana. It's like they are trying to prove a point. It perplexes me. I have been in Georgia for 18 years, but the longer I am away from Louisiana, the more fond of it I become.

he just needs to stay healthy and stop fumbling

if he does that he could be the most electrifying playmaker in the country next year

Don't you think he has had to take shite about his brother's decision for the last two years at this point? I would say I was leaning out of state too at this point in the process to keep the flamers at bay. We will survivie without any McKnights.

I don't think he has an offer from LSU, at least his Rivals profile doesn't show one.

Nothing to flame about. He is nowhere near as good as his brother Joe. Not even close. And he isn't near big enough yet either. I know he could put on a few pounds, but this kid hasn't been hit yet. If he plans on playing in the SEC, he's in for a rude awakening when he gets there.

In the case of players from JohnCurtis and the way McKnight player us before, I think saving money and not offering a visit would be better than being played for fools like his brother did.

I actually disagree

I would handle it the complete opposite way ..I would recruit him and encourage him to visit and camp at LSU and play it cool with the kid

we don't have to produce and offer in the end, but I think Miles and LSU would be doing a favor for the program by being the bigger people here and showing this kid some love... won't hurt for other Curtis kids that we really want in the future

the truth is there is some tension between LSU and Curtis and the reality is that they recruit some of the best talent from the best talent pool (New Orleans) in the state and develop them to play at a high level.. having a good rapport with Curtis is what LSU needs to move into the future IMO

they produce players ...let's not give Saban the upper hand at one of our most critical state high schools in one of our biggest recruiting regions of the state.. we don't need kids getting pushed to Tuscaloosa

I hope he leaves Louisiana, and takes that SOB John Curtis with him.
