Runs a 4.5 Forty and if you can get him to about 230 and he can maintain a 4.5 Forty he could be a big time player.

If you anyone has followed 5A High School football this year. Josh Johns was the captain of the Central High's Defense this year. They made it to the semifinals by strong defensive play. Josh blocked 2 Brother Martin's field goals one of those were 4 seconds left in the quarterfinal playoff. Destrahan barely beat Central in the semifinals and Josh Johns was playing both sides of the football that game. He played QB, WR and Safety.

The guy has alot of heart and was a stud in Louisiana 5A football. I feel confident in the type of players LA HS Football produces and I guess we will wait and see a few years from now after Chavis gets his hands on him what kind of player he will be.

Miles believes in affirmative action: Johns is the in-state, token white guy, DB walk-on.

Nice post LSu, but Max says he's small even though he's the same hgt/wgt as Steltz

i'm not even talking about Johns or if we should've offered him. i'm just here to laugh at all the people getting hard-ons for him because he is white and a low star ranking so therefore he is the next Hester, Steltz, Jack Hunt, Joel Mackavicka.

Other than being white and the two rivals stars, they have nothing in common.

My problem is, I keep looking at him as another Jacob Cutrera.

His freaking numbers are almost the exact same as Steltz. No one said he was the next one just that he's a physical match. There's no hard on, just you wishing for one.

He is a big kid, if he keeps on growing he is going to have a body of a linebacker. One of his family members told me they were examining Josh like a piece of meat. Chavis was surprised how big Josh was and they were very impressed in his size.

I am pretty sure Chavis wanted to see how he big he was before they pulled the trigger. Which now they scooped him up.
