As for the John Williams comment, if you want to see the next one just look at Lamar Louis. Another overrated camp superstar from breaux bridge. He wasnt even the best LB on his high school team not to mention hes about 2 inches shorter than listed.

Is it really necessary to talk shite about a current recruit to get your point across about Diarse?

Oh I'm not

I just view turner and diarse similarly...guys that you're not quite sure what they can play. You hope they find a niche, but I just don't see a ton of upside. I think Mel Kiper calls it projectability.

Just my opinion. Hope I'm wrong

I know people who talk to his Mom on a weekly basis not to mention i personally talk to his uncle from time to time and that is all BS.

I'm surprised LSU put Turner at WR. He was MVP of the 7 on 7 national championships in Hoover at DB with zero time at the position.

Btw, I thought before the season that Chucky Hunter would be at LSU with Turner at Moo State/TCU. Was surprised it was opposite.

It seems to me like it's always a better fit to put those type of guys at DB

Nothing to back it up, just seems like it works out better that way

Turner has a better shot to see the field at WR and he's great in the open field. I like him at WR.

The man that got Turner his scholarship and was his coach this year is gone. Hope that doesn't hurt Paul in any way.

From what little I know about him he isnt the type to sit on his arse and sulk. Coming from WM he isnt soft like some of these pussy south la WR's. Kid is a grinder and will work his arse off. I saw that when he led yall to the dome playing half the year on a bum ankle.

Serious question, no flaming. Is Diarse really 6'2" 220 lbs? FWIW, I think he signs with LSU in the end, he just looks smaller to me than his listed size.

Just a respectful suggestion to all LSU fans who think John Diarse might be a valuable addition to the team in future seasons. Try not to bad mouth the kid(too slow for Cb, 'tweener' etc. etc.)too much just because you think there's a possibility he might bolt to Gumptown. Certainly there's nothing out of bounds with discussing a recruit's strengths and weaknesses but already starting to run him down 13 months ahead of time because he's not yet a lock to Baton rouge is a bit premature and counter productive, I'd think.

The kid's now holding offers from the two premier football programs in the country more than a year early meaning some pretty good coaches think he's a hell of an athlete. Show him some love (and respect) and you never know where he might end up.

No.

As a matter of fact, I heard his HC Mickey McCarty interviewed this week on a morning sports talk show and he said right now John is 6'1 202 to be exact.

No one is badmouthing him

A few are saying they don't think he's an elite recruit; there's a huge difference.

No. Maybe in cleats and with full pads on. He looks that big on the field, but when he was measured at the UA Combine, he was much smaller than that IIRC.

Thank you for the response. I thought he looked smaller than his listed size. What's the LSU Recruiting Board's thoughts when it comes to Diarse and Jefferson? Who is better?
