You are right...it was Bastrop. I was thinking of Mathieu's game against West Monroe and then erroneously associated Diarse's performance against the Rebels.

And the other guy...also right...I remember Runner going crazy.

I am in Ruston today. Diarse was on Aaron Dietrich's ESPN Radio show this morning. I missed it but will link the pod cast as soon as they get it up on their site.

From some of the practice reports I've heard on the radio, Mett likes Wright. And don't forget about Dural, Holmes and Avery Johnson.

I think his best shot at early PT would likely be at Safety.

Diarse reminds me of Early Doucet. A playmaker that does not have great speed but is a football player.

I think he is a better S than WR. Its sort of an unfair comparison since he has gotten a lot more reps at S than WR secondary to him playing QB on offense the last 2 years.

Chad Simmons has a nice premium analysis of Diarse up on Scout. Scout

His take on the 4.8 forty he ran in Orlando:

He plays as fast as he needs to, so I would not put too much stock in that 40 time. It could be a little deceiving.
