I'd say he's worth an offer considering what's happened the past few weeks. Looks like he's got a quicker release and more decisive than Brandon Harris. I'm hoping Etling pans out and can give some help next year.

If he gets an offer from a bigger school it will be as a receiver.

I watched his film. Seen him in camp. Kid 205 last year. Definitely not WR. He's R. Wilson clone. ACCs schools and PAC probably a better fit.

I'll keep it all in one thread.

All I'm saying is that if we have a QB depth chart with Etling, McMillan, and Scott, we are in some serious freakin trouble. Might as well offer Fourcade from Rummell while we are at it.

Hell! I like fourcade. Kid makes good decisions with the football. In the SEC, that's all you need. It's not a passing league.

Dual threat, does not fit our offensive style. Need a pocket passer.

If he can run, be fairly accurate and make good decisions with the ball, he would be a lot better than anything we have right now. Why not take a flyer on him. If we can't land one top rated QB this class then we should take at least 2 of the low rated QB's that we feel could have a shot and just see which one, if either, shakes out. We have to have somebody. I mean Syracuse had a 5th string walkon that looked better than anything on our roster.

And what offensive style is that?

exactly, I don't know what these people are watching that think we need an immobile QB. Being able to run is a huge asset for a QB in our offense. If Mett would have had Harris legs we might have won a NC with him.

Agreed. Mobility is a must. IMO.
