Ok, if he does end up on the D-line...how good of a prospect will he be? And will he be a DE or a DT?

I think you are confusing him with Alford.

Who knows? He is a project.

He possesses good raw athleticism and size. He is a decent runner. Does he have the physicality, strength, and arm skills to play inside at DT in the trenches? Who knows? He may have the ability and quickness to play DE and apply some pressure. But who knows?

Are you referring to Winston? Alford and Winston are both prospects for the MLB.

Liggins is not.

I did mix that up... the article had Liggins and Alford in it. LINK

My Bad!

Liggins said. “I would like to play quarterback, but I’m a team player so I will give it my all anywhere I am put.”

He played LB as well for his HS. His weight is listed anywhere between 235-270 and he runs a 4.6

I have seen him project at QB, te, de, dt, and LB. 247 has him in their top 100 and he holds offers from USC, bama, Georgia, etc..he's an elite jumbo athlete and IMO definitely a nice addition if we get him.

While I tend to agree, it happens all the time. At LSU, Q. Johnson and Copeland as FBs. Webster a corner. Henderson and Reed at WR.

Guys who made it big... Gates and Graham at TE. Staley at OT. Boldin at WR.

Kid's a freak. When you take 25 a year, you can afford to take a flyer.

He should go with MSU, they are always trying to make QB's out of WR and TE types. This will be another link in the chain IMO...

I thought about him at TE. He may be tremendous at TE with his ball skills, size, and running ability. And if he were to seriously buckle down and become a strength and conditioning warrior...

Cribbs, Boldin, Seneca Wallace, Russell Shepard, Scott Frost, Randall Cobb, Marcus Randall, Bert Emanuel, Kordell Stewart...

Granted it's usually converting to receiver, safety, etc., but most QBs aren't 260+.
