I still view Randall as a special exception that ended up falling into our lap. He was not a top target on Les' board. He was a late surprise gift that needed somewhere to go and he was too talented to just pass by. That, plus our dire QB situation at that time, necessitated taking him.

at the moment it looks like Johnson is the only QB that LSU would take in this class if he commits
Please tell me this is nothing more than a recruiting ploy. I would hope that the staff has learned from the past not to pull all their eggs in one basket.

But the only one's who get questioned about the ability above the shoulders are the black one's.
P.S. -- Jarrett Lee and Josh Booty are both white.

So many false accusations come from race, they are difficult to take seriously anymore. Sometimes you gotta stop looking for the worst in people and take things at face value.

I actually like Jeremy alot more than some of the other guys on our board! Him and JT were my one and two guys!

Jeremy Johnson #1 QB on LSU Board quote: The LSU Football program needs to start pursuing a different type of QB than in previous years. Different from Mett and Rivers? Or different from Randall and Liggins? We pursued the shite out of the #1 pocket passer in the nation last year. quote: It is a proven and unchangeable fact that Les Miles is a terrible evaluator of quarterback talent and is Kryptonite to the really good QB recruits. Yeah, he just killed the careers of Russell and Flynn. quote: As long as CLM is our coach, this is the way it is going to be. I've witnessed too much and held my tongue way too long. Next time do us all a favor and hold your breath for that long instead of your tongue. quote: Don't hold your breath on signing a good pocket passer any time soon. Again, like Mettenberger?
Thanks Gravitiger....I could not have said it any better!

I didn't say white guys don't get criticized just that nearly every black QB prospect is painted with the same brush by some posters. Case in point :

You have to use Miles logic to understand:
1)Miles thought JJ was LSU's best chance to win last year.
2)This guy is similar to JJ.
3)Therefore, Miles thinks this guy will give LSU their best chance to win.
4)That means he is #1 QB prospect.
5)This means passing accuracy is not important for a QB, but having the feet that can move is more important.
This means there will be 4 more years with the LSU passing offense being out of the Top 100 Div 1A schools.
Enough said.

where is ferguson leaning?
Posted on 5/16/12 at 11:03 am to LsuTool
Looking at Ferguson and his offer list Bama,Clemson,LSU,North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Maryland, South Florida, Louisville and Michigan.
Bama-Cooper Bateman
Michigan-Shane Morris
Virginia Tech-Bucky Hodges
Clemson-No QB
North Carolina-No QB
Notre Dame-Malik Zaire
South Florida-No QB
Maryland-Shane Cockerille
Louisville-Kyle Bolin
Personally I think it will be hard to pull him away from the Carolinas. I wish offensively the staff hit OOS targets as hard as the defensive staff does example Gilmore.
