cam had 1400 yds rushing AU had an additional 2300 yds rushing by players other than Cam We had a total of 2100 yds rushing
And if cam was staying to open up huge lanes for the rbs, they weren't losing four starting ol and gus was staying for more than one more year then this would be a valid argument.
Hill is a great fit for the offense les runs but I won't be mad at him if he chooses another school because we're loaded at rb.

24,15. Thats the total points we lost by on the year, the last 2 years. We are getting better.

quote:LSU football has won more games since 2000 that ANY other SEC team. The last 3 years? Come on. I'll give you 08 and 09, but this year, we have a chance to win 11 games. Do you not think we were competitive in the SEC this year?
By "competing on a regular basis" I am not sure what you mean? The last 3 years we have been 5, 3, and 2 games from the leader in a 6 team division. That's not to say we can't turn it around, but lately we haven't competed for anything.
In that same timeframe, LSU has not had a single season as poor as AU's last season.

No, making the argument that Cam is the #1 reason for their success this year. And they likely lose him, DO lose their entire OL, and many other starters. Not to mention the possibility of other "issues". I'm saying they'll be right back to 7-6ish next year.

Not to defend Auburn, but that 7-6 team last year had a RB drafted in the 2nd round.
If you're Hill you have to look at everything. Everyone at LSU can't get carries and there are 6 other RBs who have at least 3 years of eligibility left. Some might look at is as a logjam, some might see it as an opportunity become a better player without putting a lot of wear on your body, then your senior year you can showcase your talents for the scouts.
He just has to figure out what path is best for him. He won't be the feature guy for a couple years minimum if he goes to either Auburn or Bama, so in a way we might offer a better shot at playing early with Ridley leaving after next year.

Look at the roster, they will be lucky to finish with 7 wins. Not only do they loose a ton of starters, but many backups. They will be hit hard next year.

It was the first year for a new coaching staff. They went from like #104 in total offense to #16.
Because of ONE paid player........

Exactly my point
Some Auburn guy on here was trying to tell me how they will still be good with him at the helm

I don't understand why LSU recruits this many running backs. You can only use one at a time. It is good to have depth at the running back position, but you only need so many. Hell any of those 8 running backs can go start any where in the country.

Mike, are you really going to Maryland?

If you were Hill, would you rather play in a sub par offense that is 8 deep at RB
Or would you rather play in a formerly high octane offense that is only 2 deep at RB and will be on probation and be a 6 loss team once the QB leaves?
