Miles is telling all his recruits to talk about how they are "open" so that they get ranked higher and we can win a RNC.

Yeah, I guess Hill could be the odd man out in 2011. Ridley will be a senior (although I think he moves back to FB at some point this year), Ford will have experience under his belt and Ware, Blue & Gore will have all been in the system for a year. Not to mention Hilliard will be the "big get" at RB in 2011.

So Purdue stole Drew B. from UTw because Drew was from Austin. What about the Saban miss on T. Porter? I guess Indiana stole T. Porter from LSU and Saban.

wouldnt worry about hill yet, right now all he would do is sit behind ridley. ford, calhoun and ware have yet to prove anything (hopefully they will) but we know stars dont mean anything. at bama he would sit behind richardson and lacey. I would not worry about this yet, no college uses one back exclusively and we wont either, regardless of what wilson says, using one back all the time is unlikely in the SEC.
hilliard may be a better prospect and magee can play receiver or secondary. if hill is scared of competition then go to southeastern

The commitments of Hilliard and Mcgee paired with the thoughts of a position change have his eyes open and his ears tuned in. He is not a lock but you would think Collins will play a part in this. My hope is he doesn't switch to say Bama and try to pull La'el with him. To say he isn't needed is absurd. We are stacked at running back with a bunch of UnproveN players. Drayton and Ford were anything but impressive last year. The staff is not sold on either yet, hint the 2010 recruiting class and the 3 rbs already in 11.

How much of a look did they get considering where they were on the depth chart?

Good lord neither of them are "re-opening" anything, they're taking visits just like they said they would.

Another article says he's just visiting to go with teammate Corey Trim. I would love for Alabama to get Jeremy Hill, but I don't see it happening, obviously.

I see no reason why Alabama is even after Hill. Considering how strong Nick Saban feels about commitment. Right?

Hard to be impressive when you redshirt.

All of you are wrong. Lacy got a offer late in the process just like Sentimore. No matter how you cut it, he DID have a LSU offer, period.

JimmyD is referring to LSU's staff does not feel they have a great back right now in the program...last year they felt Ford just didn't "get it" yet. They didn't think Ridley was a great back either, hence why he was buried on the depth chart. It was all over BR radio stations last season...whether they buck that trend remains to be seen this year.

i believe Hill and Collins are the last two players we have to worry about going elsewhere. there is nothing wrong with Hill visiting other schools, many current LSU players visited Bama, Florida, ect.

Hey, I was just commenting on the kid's talent, but of course you couldn't resist a shot at Nick Saban, right?

In the end he will go where he feels most comfortable. If that is LSU we are glad to have him.

If he chooses somewhere else, then good for him, I hope he finds some success.

But, if he gets serious about looking around then he needs to decommit so LSU is aware and can recruit another player in the interim.

Not a shot at Nick Saban at all. Just saying that since he feels so strongly about commitment, I see no reason why Hill would even be an option.

Saban is doing his job, just like Miles did with Boone and a few others.

I understand what you guys think. But this is more than just looking around. If you truly LOVE LSU and are committed, why would you give another school (which hates LSU) like Bama teh pleasure of making LSU recruits look uncertain? They will use that against LSU when a truly uncertain recruit visits.

They will use this against LSU this year the same way we try to use their commitments to lure other top recruits and have them join us to be part of such a great class, maybe greatest ever!

This is not good, period...spin it how you would like. If your prom date said she was goin with you, but she is still taking visits from guys who are interested.......be scared!
