Will he have an immediate impact on our defense or does he still need development time?

I would say immediate impact, but I think he'll get playing time for sure. Problem for him is if Mills comes back, the two starting spots are likely locked up for next year.

But I loved Cutrer's high school highlights and I think he will see a good bit of time

He's already had time to develop. I would hope he can play right away. Our defense looking

I would say immediate impact. He has done his developing the last couple years in JUCO so should be ready to contribute. He will not be a lock down super star corner, but should see the field and add dept the the LSU DB position immediately.

Cutrer may see time at corner. There should be a battle over the CB spot opposite White (assuming Robinson doesn't get out of the dog house).

Adding Cutrer and with Toliver coming in(more so as an EE) and if Robinson returns, my God this secondary will be scary good. Throw in the development of our young front. This could be a very very good defense.

This is why with all the talent coming back you know something went sour quickly with Chavis and LSU.

I talked to his DB coach at MGCCC Monday. He said the guy is "NFL". This coach played 9 seasons in the NFL and currently has 4 DBs in the NFL. Curter is already groomed his former coach is flat out good and only coaching at MGCCC because he is from Stone County.

He's been playing JC/lower division football. He is ready! See Cam Newton, Zach Mettenberger, etc. At his position instinct is key. He'll be fine.....

Don't slouch on Donte Jackson and Xavier Lewis, they are legit! Donte Jackson just got his 5th star and is rated #10 in the nation by 247.

100% corner all the way, unless we blitz from the "safety" spot like TM7
