Duplessis seems like one that is going to be off the roster to get us down to 85

Nah, Rockey is solid in special teams. I don't see him being an attrition candidate.

Ah okay. Never pay too much attention to everyone on that team until they make a play like Landry

Numbers wise we are good at S but are we really?

Reid-likely gone as long as his degree is completed
Loston-no sure thing medically or in terms of picking up the scheme
Duplessis-pure special teams and LB if he played on defense
Vinson-can swing but he is still slated to play cb
Martin-exceptional athlete and I really like him but we don't know if he'll be good yet
Gibson-like his athleticism and hear he is really showing well in practice but there is a reason Bryant and Martin played more at the end
Eugene-love this guy. Is he more than a ST guy though?
Sandolph-has to get in first and is raw. Too early to tell
Thompson-has all the tools but not a sure thing though I think he'll be good
Cutrer-love the potential but he obviosly needs coaching and frame development

We'll take at least 1 more and possibly 2 with a JC kid thrown in i suspect.

If Maurice smith from TX wants to be here, they'll keep a spot for him. If you haven't seen his highlight film, I suggest you look at it. He's gonna be a star somewhere

Does anyone see some of our safety guys moving to cb? I dunno enough about him but I really liked ronald martin in the minutes he put in this year. Can he make a switch to CB given our lack of depth there this year?

I am just projecting by 2013 that he may getting bigger.

In fact, some say LB for him so I added 5-10 lbs on him.

My advice is worth what you pay for it....free.

I get what you are saying, lots of talent but unproven as of yet. Still, if we have to take a JUCO kid this year with at least 9 safeties expected to be on campus in the fall of 2013 (not including Reid), we may need to reconsider Ron Cooper as a talent evaluator. At least two of these kids should be ready to step in by then.

ETA: Unless Alonzo Lewis comes in as a safety. That I can understand.

Really like this guy. He has great instincts and plays fearless. I would like to see him get up to around 200 with his lanky frame and keep his speed.
