Quote from elite 11

quote:

Anthony Jennings, Marietta (Ga.): Jennings isn't very tall, but he's compact and well built. He won't wow scouts with his arm strength, but he can still get the ball where it needs to be on time. Perhaps most importantly, Jennings has good footwork and accuracy.

Quote from his recruiting bio on ESPN

quote:

Jennings is a great looking player at the position. He is tall and well-built with strength as both a thrower and runner.

what a joke espn recruiting is

Delete that.
1) It isn't funny.
2) Recruits don't always detect humor and or sarcasm.
Neither does Dodd

A couple of those tweets...

In other news, LSU commit Anthony Jennings has looked the best so far at the early Elite 11 throwing session.

Some pictures of Anthony Jennings at the Elite 11:

1st one was with a tweet from Nike repping their clothing:

I can't find a schedule for the finals anywhere. It should be somewhere on this page. ESPN High School (Elite 11)

The parts of it that are going to be televised are swupposed to be shown on Aug 7th & 14th.

Looks like Jennings didn't make the cut for the final 11, even though he had some of the top performances for the week. Ah well, it's obvious that he is good, he can keep practicing and playing with a chip on his shoulder.

I read that he was having trouble today. It was windy supposedly.

Also, he had ice on his shoulder after day 2 I saw in a interview, just to keep it from getting sore to much.

Sounds like a hard and trying ordeal for a qb trying to put forth 110%.

Almost sounds like a baseball player who has participated in the home run derby. Hope it's O.K. for the beginning of his senior season.
