Jelani Watkins has the chance to be an absolute stud for us.

He doesn't really get talked about at all when discussing this class. But that kid is a burner but also has great hands and football awareness. He could be one of the steals of the class. If we miss on Zavion Thomas he could also be another option for kickoff return and possibly punt with his speed.

When he first committed there was a decent thread on him - but it was determined (as far as I could find) that this kid is the fastest High-school recruit LSU has ever landed.
Yes- faster than X and Trindon were in high school.
The question is if he will be swept away by a very promising track career....
